Say Hello to Blog! πŸ’›

Well, I am brand new person to blog world, hoping to find something interesting and  enjoying the time of reading others' blogs as well as successfully finishing my ICT in TESOL course. 😎

I will give my reviews about what blog is according to some bloggers' post from following points:

Organisation and Layout: Most of blogs should be as clear as possible to instruct readers and make it more readable. Sometimes you use title, subtile and spaces to create a explicit structure of your blog. Otherwise you can also insert some pictures or quote others' words for a better layout.

Cotent and Features: I do not fully understand what blog's content should be now. However, I believe that it is some kinds of tools that teach something and give your personal views. It provides a place for people who are interested in same field to communicate and learn form each other. It can be any form as you like and you don't need pretend to be the best. Just be yourself and do with your style!

Ease of use and Navigaiton: It is not easy to search for what you want compare to google, but you find it more attractive when you read someone's blogs and get to know the blogger gradually.

Target Audience: In views of some bloggers in EFL field, I am sure the target audience would be the English teachers or potential English teachers. The comments usually come from other teachers who agree or disagree with blogger's perspective.

Summary: Blog, not like an essay, has more choices, which means you can decide what it would be and make it one and only. It can be academic, professional or casual. The most important thing is to attract more readers and share your ideas creatively.

(By the way, do not be disrespectful when you comment, a few words of insults could kill their passion!)

  1. I like the background colour and the title. It's very refreshing. I could get to know the blogger's personality, to some extent, through the layout of this blog.

  2. Hi, Lu. I really liked the content of your blog. It seems to me that you learned a lot about blogging. The only thing I would change in it is the color. It is a bit dark to me and sometimes I have to make an extra effort to read the white letters with the black bacground.

  3. Hi Lu - welcome to the world of blogging! I love your title and your character that comes through your writing. Rather than focusing on reviewing one blogger you have summarised lessons to be learned from all the bloggers you looked at which is fine - quite a good strategy. Normally the content is what you are passionate about :-) Here I hope you will blog about the tools you enjoyed or thought were interesting, or even the ones you hated and want to tell us why! A great start so far - keep it up!
